Tempura Tradition in Dumaguete City

  Dumaguete City is known as the culinary destination in Central Visayas. Prides itself on its beautiful view and lovely ambiance. Tourism in its infante stage after the pandemic recovery period. Nearly all streets in the city are lined up with fancy European restaurants and stalls serving delicious food at unbelievably cheap prices. Among the most hangout places in the city is the “ Tempurahan” a ship of foods stalls lined along   Jose Rizal Patawan 2 People Park in the boulevard which starts near sundown. Renowned Writer D. M. Reyes Named Director-in-Residence for the 62nd Silliman University National Writers Workshop

Reyes as the Director-in-Residence for the upcoming 62nd Silliman University National Writers Workshop. The appointment, made by Silliman University President Dr. Betty C. McCann, follows the recommendation of the Advisory Board of the Edilberto and Edith Tiempo Creative Writing Center, and the endorsement of Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Earl Jude Paul L. Cleope. D. M. Reyes, a distinguished scholar and educator, was awarded the prestigious Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas for Poetry in English by the Unyon ng Mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas (UMPIL) in April 2023.
